Author Guidelines

RAPL accepts for publication original articles resulting from work presented, in oral or poster format, at the APL National Meeting.
There is an annual call for papers for the volume that brings together papers that have been presented at the previous year's meeting. Papers presented at earlier meetings or papers that have not been presented at ENAPL are not accepted.
RAPL does not have a permanent open call. All submitted papers that do not meet these requirements are rejected.
RAPL accepts papers from PhD and non-PhD authors, members, and non-members.
The journal accepts originals written in Portuguese or English, respecting the spelling standards of each language.
The title, abstract and keywords must be in Portuguese and English. Articles should not exceed 12.000 words (including notes and references). Published texts and images (if any) are the responsibility of the authors.
Submitted manuscripts must be strictly formatted according to the article formatting template and must follow the journal's publication guidelines, available HERE.
Articles that do not follow the formatting model and norms will be returned to the author without any review process.
By submitting an article to RAPL, the author declares that the article is original and is of his own authorship, committing to collaborate in the various stages of the revision process.

All texts submitted to RAPL are subjected to a peer review process. All reviewers who participate in the review process of a volume are mentioned in the publication.
The reviewers give their opinion on the papers, following the journal's review guidelines and suggesting any changes they consider necessary. Evaluated articles may be approved without suggested modifications, with suggested minor modifications or with a request for major revisions. They may also be refused.
In case one opinion is favourable and another negative, the article will be sent to a third reviewer.
