The vast work of José Leite de Vasconcelos is reflected and described in the article published by Isabel Vilares Cepeda in José Leite de Vasconcellos: livro do centenário (1858–1958), dated from 1960. The author published his articles in several magazines and journals, from the 70s of the 19th century until his death, in the 40s of the 20th century. A quick analysis of Isabel Cepeda's article is enough to notice a high incidence of reissues and reprints over the years. Having the aforementioned article as the basis for the present study, the aim is to understand how and to what extent Leite de Vasconcelos reused his articles in subsequent works, as well as to identify the decades in which certain themes were most explored.
